Our Wildflower Honey is collected from our hives which are all placed within 10km from our farm in Canoe Cove, PEI. They are all on wildflowers and pasture land. We keep all our bees away from harmful chemical spraying. Common flowers that our bees visit are White Clover, Goldenrod, Aster and Fireweed.
Nothing is added to creamed honey, it is still 100% all natural unpasteurized honey. To produce creamed honey, we first take a small amount of already creamed honey, called “seed honey”. This seed honey is mixed with liquid honey, churned, bottled and then stored in a cooling fridge for a week. This process creates a very smooth, even granulation effect throughout the honey, giving it a more solid, or a “creamed” texture.
All of our honey is all natural and unpasteurized which means it brings with it all it’s natural goodness. Unpasteurized honey is rich in vitamins and antioxidants, contains natural probiotics and is a source of valuable enzymes.
